Hello! I’ve noticed the system won’t boot when using memory in Slot B1 or B2, but it works with Slot A1 or A2. I’ve tried different RAM modules and even single slots in various setups, but nothing changes the issue. I’ve checked the CPU pins, socket, and even reused the CPU without fixing anything. I’m not sure what’s causing this problem. Any suggestions? My setup includes a NZXT N7 B550 with Ryzen 5 5600X, two 16GB DDR4 modules at 3200mHz.
do you retain memory in channel A while switching to channel B? Some systems require channel A to be ready before channel B loads... verify this by placing memory in A1 and B1 slots. In your guide, A2 and B2 must be initialized first to enable dual-channel operation... secondary setup is A1 and B1. This is typically the standard for most boards. If it fits one of those models that needs A2 active, it makes sense not to boot otherwise. It appears you haven’t attempted dual-channel mode yet. Since you’re loading from the CPU first and then the dimming slots, it should be second and fourth.

I used one stick in Channel A and another in B, but nothing changed. Unfortunately, I don’t have a third RAM stick to test with three slots. The problem became noticeable when trying dual-channel RAM. I’ve tried A1 + B1 and A2 + B2, neither worked. I need to try with a third stick thanks for your prompt response.
They’re just saying hello. I’m not sure if it’s related, but my RAM has RGB lighting and it’s functioning properly. It also activates my personalized lightning effect from before.
If A2 and B2 aren't functioning, I'd bring in the board CPU and memory. Ask them to repair or replace the faulty components. The RAM might still work even if the RAM isn't, unless the EPS power connection was missed.
