If you know about gigabyte motherboards and their BIOS, I'd be glad to assist. Recently, I upgraded to a Ryzen 3800x and bought an x570 master board. I'm facing two problems:
1. After flashing the main BIOS with Q Flash and a USB to the latest version on gigabyte's site F7b, the main BIOS got corrupted. I only see a black screen that won't load Windows, but I can still access the BIOS. Switching to the backup BIOS (factory set F4) works perfectly. I've tried flashing the main BIOS to F6 and F4, but the issue remains. I have full access to the BIOS, yet Windows doesn't load and it doesn't recognize the boot partition. I've cleared the CMOS and set BIOS to factory defaults, but it doesn't help.
2. When I boot through the backup BIOS (F4), my CPU temperature on SIV Smart Fan 5 fluctuates wildly, jumping in large steps at idle. Other tools like Ryzen Master show a steady 46°C. All fans are spinning, but the temperature readings seem off in SIV. Please help me resolve this.
If you recently purchased it, consider swapping the board. It seems you'd benefit from upgrading the BIOS version gradually, as they provide detailed guidance on their website. You might also try flashing an older BIOS version onto the main board.
