Tried the chipset connection earlier and it seemed similar. Placed an order for a different drive tomorrow to compare results and will keep you updated.

The new drive seems to function without any problems right now. I'll continue testing it for a while to check… it might just be a compatibility issue between the board and the 4tb 990 pro.
