Details : Ryzen 5 3600 + RX 6600 XFX Msi B450m pro, max VHDH 3200MHz, MP44L, 1TB SSD, Thermalright assassin. After a night the screen fails to appear and the VGA LED flickers constantly. Reseating GPU, RAM, SSD and CMOS stops the issue but display remains absent. Booting with RAM in slots 1 or 3 works. Need advice.

The boot issue often indicates no operating system detected. Can you open the BIOS menu? It might mean your boot drive is malfunctioning, though that shouldn't block access to BIOS. Also, try connecting your graphics card to a different computer to verify its functionality. Good luck!

No, not just the motherboard issue. If you can't access the BIOS and can't test your GPU, it suggests a broader problem with the system or power supply.

Visit a repair service to get an estimate. They might run tests on it for free. To access the BIOS screen, ensure your power supply, motherboard, CPU, and RAM are functioning properly—plus some graphics support (iGPU or a card). There seems to be an issue with one or more of these components.

The Ryzen 3600 lacks an integrated graphics card. If your RX 6600 has issues (such as a faulty VGA LED), it won’t boot properly—you’ll miss the P.O.S.T. stage. You should locate or obtain another GPU, or bring it to a repair shop for evaluation.
