Issue: Canon MG3650 not detected
Issue: Canon MG3650 not detected
Hello, I'm attempting to set up a Canon printer on my computer. However, it frequently reports that the device isn't recognized right away after plugging it in. I've installed the Canon software, but I can't progress past the detection and connection process since the printer doesn't show up.
I've also tried connecting it to another computer, which still displays the same error message from Windows. The printer powers on, lights work, and prints the information page, but it remains unreachable.
P.S. The printer was connected to a machine that was damaged by lightning. I had to replace the motherboard, CPU, and power supply. Now I'm trying to install this printer again. Is it possible that the USB connection was somehow affected? Everything else seems fine.
Thanks.

Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also, mention the BIOS version for your motherboard.
P.s. The printer was linked to a device that was damaged by lightning. It's possible the printer was destroyed during the incident. If you've replaced the motherboard with a different model, you'll need to reinstall the OS.
