Hi All, As per title really, put PC to sleep, wont' wake on a keypress (like it always has for like 2 years previously). Mobo RGB remains lit up in sleep mode but neither keypress nor power button will start the machine. The weirdest bit is, when I turn PSU off then on (waiting a few secs for mobo lights to turn off) and power on using case power button Windows will resume straight to logon screen and then have all my apps/windows open that were there before sleep?! How is this even possible after I've turned the PSU off/on?! I did a bit of googling and checked my efficiency setting thingy in the BIOS, it's already disabled. TIA!

I haven't experimented with this approach before.

Review the wake settings for keyboard and mouse in Windows: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/windows-10...ight-click on the Start, the arrow next to Keyboards. Make sure your BIOS is up to date. It seems a recent update might have changed your system’s sleep behavior, possibly affecting the CPU or mobile device.

Thanks, I'll look at the windows configuration (it's using W11 but I think it's similar). The bios was refreshed a few weeks ago and everything looks fine there. The problem didn't appear right after the update but around a week later.

Review the bios documentation for any updates on permitted c-states. These are the sleep modes the CPU can enter.
