Hi.
I’m experiencing some odd problems and am unsure if this is related to the PSU or something else.
Two days ago, I began updating Windows and after the initial run, once I reset the PC, it started behaving strangely.
No image appears on the monitor, but RGB and MBO are working, the graphics card name is correct, sound via Blaster RGB functions, fans are running, but there’s no display.
The mouse and keyboard are also not functioning.
After turning it off, I tried using the onboard GPU, but the issue persisted—no image.
When I turned it back on, PSU was off for a while, then everything worked again until another reset.
This happened again later.
After a short period, the PSU is still functioning properly.
Could this be near the end of its lifespan?

It seems the motherboard isn't efficiently using power from the PSU during restarts, which might explain why only parts work at first but eventually stops after some time. Have you checked if the power connections are properly seated? Also, try removing and reinserting the CMOS battery, waiting about half a minute before putting it back in to see if it makes a difference.

I9-9900K
Corsair H50
Asus TUF Z370
16 Gb Ballistix Crucial
OZC Vertex 256 gb SSD for Windows, Samsung 980 1TB, two standard HDDs (1 TB each), and WD Black 500 GB
Gigabyte GTX 1080 8 GB
Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W 80+ Bronze
Zelman Z3
Win 11 Pro
LG 22-inch, quite outdated
Power supply unit has been with me for three years; I don’t remember its previous owner. The PC uses three LED indicators, two of which show faults related to the PSU, but all are green. I also have a Sound Blaster X AE-5.

The wire delivering power to the motherboard from the PSU might be nearing its end. If you've owned it for three years without knowing the previous owner's duration, it could be a good idea to consider a replacement.

That's a 13 year old unit and not reliable anymore. Replace it!

But now it is functioning properly. I'll keep monitoring until I achieve the win update again. This will be the same issue.

...you think. The effect of such an old unit is very strong. It will damage the parts eventually.
