I purchased an 8GB model today. I’m checking whether I have to re-enter the product key on the PC during installation since the Microsoft site asks for it.

I attempted to install the 8.1 ISO on a 4GB drive, but it didn't work. You'll need at least more than 4GB of storage.

I can upload it to Mega if you wish. It’s a clean ISO file, so you shouldn’t have any concerns. If it violates the forum’s rules, just let me know and I’ll remove it promptly.

Microsoft’s solution is the optimal approach. Enter your serial number into the tool to confirm you own a genuine Windows license. After installation, you’ll be asked to re-enter it. On Windows 8, validating the Windows install isn’t optional. MSDN keys can be used during setup. You’ll still need your authentic key to activate the system. This method could be seen as piracy since Microsoft mandates valid keys for downloading the ISO. Regarding the release of Windows 7 ISO files, they were made available publicly.
