This system includes an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, an ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard, 8GB of HyperX Fury DDR4 2666MHz RAM, a 240GB Kingston A1000 M.2 SSD, a 480GB Kingston A400 SATA SSD, a Phanteks Eclipse P400S case, a Corsair TX550M 550W power supply, and an MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB ARMOR OC graphics card. I’ve been experiencing intermittent freezing problems within certain games installed on the 480GB SSD. Specifically, *Hollow Knight* and *A Hat in Time* occasionally freeze, as do *DOOM* and *Total War: Warhammer* frequently. After relocating *Total War: Warhammer* to my smaller 240GB SSD, these freezing issues resolved themselves. The freezes only affect the game; I can still control the mouse, and they typically last between 5 and 20 seconds. Is there a hardware defect with my SSD? Kingston SSD Manager reports no errors.
