You've upgraded to a newer setup with better specs, which should help stability. Since you didn’t reinstall Windows or change drivers, you’re likely safe from major issues. Just keep an eye on performance and watch for any unusual behavior. If everything feels normal, you should be fine.

If everything is working, it's okay. You might skip the Intel drivers since they're no longer needed. The GPU drivers should be identical for both cards—441.xx? Yes? You'd have tested your previous setup by running benchmarks and noting the results to see how it compares with your current configuration. But don't worry, you definitely improved performance.

Sure, everything is working smoothly. The GPU drivers are set to 441.xx. No benchmarks were done, or at least I didn’t forget. I guess I just remembered what other gamers talk about when they upgrade.

Windows 10 hot swaps work quite smoothly. I wouldn't be concerned about it—I've done it multiple times with operating systems from W7 to XP. Back then, chipset drivers had to be taken out, or else you'd face a blue screen of death. Not the case now; you're all set.

You flipped the drives and started from the first one. This seems to challenge the common advice to always reinstall Windows. If the performance meets expectations, it should work.

I don't understand your reference to swapping, but I went with the versions from my previous setup because they worked well.

You transferred the storage drive from the earlier version and started the current one using it.

Only the final tweak matters—adjust your 2700 to around 3.7–3.8ghz when using the OEM cooler (up to 4.0 with a quality aftermarket unit). Non-X chips struggle with all-core performance, especially during heavy use.
