Hello, I recently built a new PC and have observed that over the past month, when playing games with a mouse cursor in fullscreen—such as Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends, and WoW—I notice my cursor is lagging. It seems to have a very low and choppy polling rate at times, even when using borderless mode, which forces me to play in windowed mode.

My specs are: B550 AORUS ELITE V2, 6800 XT with the latest drivers, Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB 3200 CL16 RAM.

Could you let me know if this issue has been experienced before or what might be causing it? Also, please tell me if you need any additional details about my setup.

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide complete system details. List specifications in the following format:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Add the PSU age along with its brand and model.
Also mention the BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
Include the make and model of your peripherals.
You mention a new PC—have you replaced your older OS drive without reinstalling the operating system?
