I made changes to the BIOS on my MSI X570 Unify, but it didn’t work. After rebooting, I saw a black screen. I performed a CMOS reset and used both the flash button and USB key to update the BIOS. The display stayed black and showed an error code after booting. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 5900X (stock), MSI X570 MEG RTX 4080 FE, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RT 3600C16 (XMP enabled), WD_Black SN850 500GB and Samsung 970 EVO 500GB. Before the update it ran perfectly.

Disconnect all components except the CPU, RAM, and power supply. Reapply the BIOS update. Allow it to remain idle for ten minutes. It should reboot automatically.

I discovered two approaches that can restore the motherboard to normal operation: clearing CMOS allows booting afterward but erases all custom BIOS settings, such as PWM fan speeds and RAM frequency. Powering off the power supply while the computer is running lets you restart normally without losing any configurations. The details provided came from a website; 'Code 00' signals a complete failure to power up and points to a hardware issue with the BIOS or motherboard or CPU.

Successfully resolved the problem! I removed all components except the motherboard power for the CPU and MB, then flashed the BIOS using a USB key. After 8 minutes it worked. Restored CPU and RAM but encountered error codes. Unplugging and replugging the RAM fixed it. Now the PC boots normally. Weird!

Absolutely! Everything functions properly now. However, it's clear I won't be updating the BIOS anytime soon, haha.
