today i moved my iphone 11 to my m1 macbook, wiped all data on it, and tried restoring from backup. when i did that on the same iphone, the macbook pro asked for an encryption password that i never had a chance to set. i’m wondering if there’s any way to recover without resetting everything each time—maybe using terminal commands or another method? i get unlimited guesses, but each attempt forces the iphone back to factory settings, which takes a while. i’ve tried over a hundred times, but it didn’t work. both devices are on the latest software updates. anyone have any idea how to restore my backed-up files from my mac to my iphone?

When the backup is secured with encryption and you lack access to the password, recovery is impossible except through chance. Refer for more details: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205220#help

I've helped fix issues for most users who had one of these backup passwords stored: Mac password, iPhone passcode, or Apple ID login. If you haven't tried any of these, I recommend giving them a shot. If you can't recall the password, don't worry—your information is lost permanently. No recovery options exist.
