Is your graphics card limiting your system's performance?
Hello, I want to begin by describing my system configuration. It consists of an ATI Radeon HD3850, a Core 2 Quad Q9400 processor running at 2.67GHz, 8GB of DDR2 RAM at 800MHz, a 240GB Sandisk SSD Plus, and a 300W power supply. Previously, I had a Core 2 Duo E4500 CPU on this same system, and I was able to play Euro Truck Simulator 2 at medium-high settings without issues. However, after upgrading to the Q9400, I experience slow motion-like drops in Euro Truck Simulator 2 even when using the lowest settings. When monitoring my GPU and CPU usage, I observe that my GPU is consistently at 90-100% while my CPU usage remains between 20 and occasionally as low as 10%. Is this a GPU bottleneck? I apologize for my English.
Consider the fact that he’s recording, even if it's not 60 fps in this video.
A 750Ti paired with a 4790K achieves an average of 52 frames per second in GTA V, and I doubt you will reach 50 FPS with that configuration. See: https://www.gamersnexus.net/game-bench/1...hics-cards
