I started this thread before but now it is happening again. Here are my computer specs: Motherboard ROG Strix B650E-F CPU Ryzen 7900X GPU 4070 RAM 32GB 5200mhz PSU Corsair 850g Physical Drives I have this problem where after a few weeks to months it just crashes every time I game or worse. I had a 980 pro 2tb, had to rma that twice. then a 990 pro, after constant issues and windows installs it would not even open windows without crashing, now on the sn850 after a month of being stable, it crashes anytime I game. I have tried removing oc, uninstalling software, ddu and fresh install latest nvidia drivers. I cannot check crash logs because every time it crashes it fails to log crash dump, it says so in the event viewer. I need help, I have been dealing with this since Feb and really close to smashing this whole pc. I don't understand how 3 different high end drives crash, when a cheap wavlink gen 4 no dram worked for 2 years no problems. please help I have tried about 6 fresh installs of windows 11 on 3 different gen 4 drives, and 4 different nvidia drivers since the 5000 series fiasco

You can download this tool from a website called memtest86 and run it using your USB stick.

The test passed so thanks for sharing that link and tip. I got a spare graphics card, I'm planning to change out my old one and check if my new 4070 works because I still have a full year on the warranty.

So this thing is getting crazy. I put in a used GPU called an A770 to fix things. The game won't start at all, even after crashing. We have three big hard drives and two GPUs, both upgraded with fresh drivers. Is the motherboard broken?

Final update with a happy ending! I got the 990 pro, everything looks good, and I stress-tested it using Cinebench and OCCT. Finally, I feel at peace. A big shout-out to everyone who gave me ideas and actually helped out. I learned so much along the way. For example, my RAM speed was 6000mhz, but my CPU could only go up to 5200mhz max; also, DDR4 depends on the motherboard limits while DDR5 depends on the CPU (I didn't know that!). Now my system is super snappy and fun. I'm glad to be part of a group where people help each other openly.
