My device is quite outdated from a manufacturer known as
Enter. I've plugged it in many times, updated drivers, but it still doesn't appear in Windows.

How many years old is "really old"?
Is there a particular device name or model number available?
Does it have a USB connection?

Please update your message to contain complete system details and operating system information.
Check if Device Manager shows hidden devices enabled.
