For components that emit heat, a five-second burst from the spray can may be necessary. When white frost forms on the part, it indicates the need to cease spraying. If cooling components resolves the issue with your computer, you likely identified the problem. To verify, warm the affected parts with the hairdryer until the ice melts. If the system stabilizes, the suspect is confirmed. Repeat the cooling process to ensure accuracy. Be careful not to run the cycle too long, as seen when someone overheated a capacitor and it failed.

I’m uncertain about the availability of freezer spray in your area, but it may be purchased online. It isn’t inexpensive, particularly for larger containers (which you probably won’t need), but it should be cheaper than a new motherboard.
