Is your CPU causing performance issues on its own?
You're experiencing high CPU temperatures while gaming, especially with your i3 8100 and aftermarket cooler. This can definitely impact performance and stability. There are a few things you can try: check your cooling setup, ensure proper airflow, and consider adjusting your game settings or resolution to reduce load. If the temperature remains high, you might need to upgrade your cooling solution or monitor temperatures more closely. Let me know if you want tips on lowering temps or improving stability!
I run rainbow on my Intel Pentium G4560, it runs hot at 70°C and uses around 60% of the CPU. When I switch to Vulkan now, a 1080p display delivers 80fps to 120fps with a 750iI that’s at full load but only 100% usage. With two monitors, the second one shows about 80% usage—hard to say for sure.
It doesn’t make sense to want your CPU to run hotter, as higher temperatures can cause performance issues and damage.
