I see that Citrix Receiver is installed on my computer and I don't know why it's there. Maybe it helps some other program connect to a server. Does OneDrive need this program? I had CrashPlan for years, but I stopped using it for backups. It runs in the back of my screen ... and I'm not sure what happens if I remove it. Any ideas?

Look in the Program Files folder to see if you added that Citrix Receiver. If you aren't logging into a remote computer at work, you probably shouldn't have installed it. You should figure out where you got it for sure.

I checked the files in program files x86. There were three folders: Auth Manager, ICA Client, and Receiver. The dates on Auth Manager and Receiver are Nov 2017. But the ICA Client is from Jan 2021. At that time, it was just my work login for using a computer at home. That needed to connect to the server for me to work there now. I use a work laptop instead. So let's uninstall these things... thanks.

I had an operation fail while trying to remove something. To see more details, click View Log. Ask the Help Desk and give them the log info. I can look at that log (a long list of things). 15:08:17: Information - CApp::InitializeLog(704) - * Version: 14.2.0.10 15:08:17: Information - CApp::InitializeLog(706) - * Build Date: Nov 27 2014 15:08:17: Information - CApp::InitializeLog(707) - * Build Time: 08:59:01 15:08:17: Information - CApp::InitializeLog(708) - * Command Line: /uninstall /cleanup 15:08:17: Information - CCommandLine: 😛 arseParam(94) - Command Line Parameter: uninstall = true 15:08:17: Information - CCommandLine: 😛 arseParam(94) - Command Line Parameter: cleanup = true

I checked around ... and I found out where things might be connecting back to when I was at work. I'm going to reach the IT help desk to figure out how to get rid of it. Some people had trouble with a citrix receiver clean-up tool from Citrix.

Thanks! I just wiped my computer completely and started over with Windows 10 again. That fixed it all.
