This might look like a silly comment to others, but for me it's real. I'm not hiding and I understand many people still play it, though I don't know where to start. I tried the free version—it worked fine. Then I stopped because I didn’t have friends who played it. I suspect there’s a monthly subscription option (checked, it’s still free for me). With the upcoming Legion expansion and my other digital editions (SC2 and D3), I was wondering if investing in it would make sense. Payment isn’t an issue, but would spending time on this game be worthwhile even if I’m playing alone? It could help me meet new people, though I’m not sure. Any advice would be appreciated!

I won’t play WoW since I don’t enjoy that type of game, but if you do and you like it, then maybe it’s worth trying. After all, what games are really about?

Absolutely, you're right—it can be tough to jump in when you don't understand the game well. What's exciting is still unclear for newcomers. Are there big endgame events or challenges like time trials? Do we have any guild battles or other engaging activities? I’m curious about PVP and guild vs guild options too.

I've tried Wow from the start, mixing in and out. I've balanced my main and sub levels over time. If you keep the storyline in mind, it's a great experience. There are tools for group management to assist with challenges or dungeons, but ultimately the choice is yours. The expansions aren't costly—just purchase the game plus two of the later ones I think.

I understand that part. In the end, it's me who makes the final decision. You mentioned playing both ways, which means you kept returning. Was it because you forgot about the game? Friends? I don't really know, just let me know. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I enjoyed the game's art style and career options. I spent hours exploring the terrain mining resources and advancing in the mining profession. The daily missions were appealing. I appreciated selling items like ore on the auction platform. The raids were engaging, especially working with teammates to complete objectives. I had friends who played casually too, so my friend might join for a while. Maybe I'll try it again later.

Zoom in! You don’t have to travel far back. I own SC1, D2 and W3 battle chests. I enjoy the narratives of these games, which is why I’m drawn to WoW (since Blizzard kept me engaged with WC3TFT). In my view, it’s Story>Graphics/Gameplay that really captures my interest.

I played World of Warcraft for roughly three years, finishing during the Cataclysm expansion, and still feel a bit nostalgic from time to time. If you're into it, you should definitely give it another try. The game is really packed with lore and fan-favorite elements, making it rewarding for those who know what they're looking for. It does come with a monthly fee—about $15 for four months, which totals $60. From my perspective, if you get the most out of it in those four months compared to a new triple-A title, you're getting good value. You can pause or stop payments whenever you want to take a break or quit.
