Windows doesn't accurately track storage. This device holds 5.74TB on a 2TB drive, but hidden files, the recycle bin, and odd small items can inflate usage. For a clearer view, try WinDirStat or check Settings > System > Storage.

Occasionally Windows fails to recognize the Recycle Bin on a storage device. Try WinDIrStat or WizTree (more efficient for NTFS) to check for any remaining files or unexpected items.
