Is Windows 10 worth it?
I recently switched to Windows 10. Is it merely a polished version of Windows 8 or does it truly justify the additional storage?
Windows 10 offers great value—it's free, so why not try it? Whether it's worth installing now depends on your needs. Some users face many problems, while others don't. It's like a lottery where outcomes vary.
Previously ran Windows 7 with about 300GB remaining. After upgrade, 14GB were removed.

Worth it? In a couple weeks for sure. However right now, a good number of people are experiencing issues, why test luck and not just wait a week or two for the kinks to work themselves out is beyond me.
It's a good deal because it offers a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 for at least a year. However, be careful about upgrading too soon (since it's already available) as some users might think it's still early and could have lingering issues that impact performance.
It's beneficial. It blends features from Windows 7 while eliminating the clunky modern interface. Cortana is included, which makes me uneasy since I oppose progress in AI-related areas. I support it and against it simultaneously, interacting with a computer? ABSOLUTELY.
