I looked up Windows 10 on Google and found listings offering keys for a low price, but those sites seem unreliable. Microsoft’s official site charges a much higher price. It’s safer to purchase directly from Microsoft for authenticity and support.

Get a genuine license by purchasing from MS or approved sellers, not from unreliable sources.

Hi! I went through the same setup process when assembling my new PC. In the end, I chose a retail license of Windows 10, which comes on a USB drive. I did this because some websites offering very low prices are often unreliable (read reviews – many turn out to be volume licenses that lose value later). A retail license gives you flexibility since it isn’t tied to a specific machine like an OEM copy. Also, given Microsoft’s shift toward Windows as a service and the likelihood of needing Windows 10 for some time, this option makes sense for getting the most value. Sure, it costs more upfront, but you’ll always have access to Windows.
