The decision to opt for the free upgrade now seems balanced, given the current state of Windows 11. Since your gaming mainly involves racing games with physical controls, performance gains won’t be critical. Running at 9600k and using a GTX1080 should still provide solid results.

It doesn’t make much sense to upgrade. None of Windows 11’s features are strong enough to warrant the change. I’ll stick with Windows 10 until it’s no longer supported.

Gaming follows the same pattern as Windows 10. But my 5-day-old Windows 11 setup crashed last night, forcing me to spend hours fixing it before I chose to revert back to Windows 10.

I released the W11 update but it failed to start, so I went back to Windows 10. That’s why I chose to stay on Windows 10.

I recently switched to my laptop without any technical issues so far. Getting used to the new UI will be the toughest part for a while. In my view, we need to take action soon. Although there are still over two years ahead, I prefer not to wait until the very end and start adjusting earlier. For now, I’ll keep using Windows 10 on my main desktop.
