Is too much overclock bad?
He achieved it using this. https://tr.aliexpress.com/item/400084409...web201603_ It could seem fake but it's genuine. 1.64 was his voltage.
He is turning off the main processing units and threads. The Ryzen 3100 runs as a 4-core / 8-thread machine. CPU-Z shows it as 2-core / 2-threads. The goal is mainly to boost the CPU overclock to check with CPU-Z, not for gaming or regular tasks. It's currently running at 1.536V. That’s not for continuous use—just test benchmarks and let it rest. Repeat the process.
He offered this for all core, testing everyone to see if they could succeed. I clearly can’t do it.
I don't see 1.64v mentioned as claimed. That frequency is likely near the limit for ambient cooling. Great job on getting it right! Let me know if you need anything else.
He mentioned his motherboard lacked an LLC, which caused the voltage to drop. Yet he feels really proud from what I see.
Leading the list tops ten. Others rank below zero at this speed. https://hwbot.org/benchmark/cpu_frequenc...nterval=20
