You probably don't enjoy Call of Duty except for CoD4, honestly I don't really understand why I like that one. The rest of the games feel more like recycled versions, but I really appreciate the competitive aspects in it.

Fallout - 60h Fallout 2 - Still in progress, Fallout 3 not finished, Fallout 3 at ~600h, Fallout 4 in development - Yeah, so... different approaches for everyone.

People have different views on the games they enjoy. I enjoy Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4, but I dislike Skyrim. The atmosphere stands out to me, and the gunplay is exceptional compared to other titles. I haven’t even begun the main story for 50 hours, but I’m enjoying the side quests and stories. I finished clearing a raider base and read the leader’s terminal, which detailed how her sister was taken by other raiders and sold for food. Later, I discovered where the ransomer was hiding with his crew, cleared him out, and found his terminal explaining how he had kidnapped the girl but she escaped. He then killed her and has been sending letters on his own. These small details make the game engaging. I also appreciate how I convinced a robot to marry a man and how Codsworth mentions my real name, which surprised me.

I don't grasp that remark. Allowing someone thirty hours to form an opinion seems excessive. Many people might not even enjoy lengthy games, and the main storyline can be completed in half that time. If a game fails to keep players engaged for thirty hours, it clearly didn't succeed. The time someone spends playing shouldn't determine whether their view on a game is valid. Additionally, games often feel similar at the end, and players can lose interest easily. I tested Fallout 3 twice—my example with Daikatana isn't perfect, but the combat in FO3 isn't much better. It feels stiff and was probably added later as a secondary element. I don’t like Fallout 3 because it feels like a generic, less polished experience. It’s a game that’s more of a skeleton compared to New Vegas, which offers richer gameplay and storytelling. And the setting? That’s just an analogy I’ll change for another title. I gave up on Final Fantasy VII after about forty hours—so much time wasted trying to enjoy something I didn’t like. Why should fans of Fallout 3 endure the same struggles?

others enjoy it, but for many it's not the most exciting part. I've played a lot of games and would rank this one high among my favorites.
