Hey there! After a while, I plan to get a new laptop and want to bring my Steam games over. The challenge is figuring out how to transfer them. My PC has two HDDs—one for booting and another dedicated to games. I’m curious if Steam Family Sharing is the only option. Also, I don’t want to re-download everything; it takes a month just to get a single game, especially with my slow internet speed.

Log in to Steam on your laptop, and it will allow you to re-download the items.

You can simply paste the entire Steam library into your laptop.

You don’t need to sign in again—just open your account on the laptop and download the games you wish.

Navigate to your Steam directory using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V in the Steam app. Clear all content then reinstall the registry without downloading new files.

It seems like you're trying to explain a situation where both your PC and laptop have Steam games installed, but they're on different systems. That should still be possible!

I see, you can upload files through the network. Just link the devices using a LAN and ensure the HDDs are shared on the network.
