That's really useful information. We're in the Columbus, OH region, which means we can easily reach a Microcenter nearby. It seems we should plan to stop by them.

I would check for any 7600x3d offers too. They appear to have several on the site with attractive prices. The X3D chips usually provide superior gaming performance, and there’s a deal for $350 for a 7600x3d setup along with an ASUS B850 plus TUF Gaming, which is a reliable board that performed well in tests. They also seem to offer some CPU and motherboard combinations that look promising. It might be a good choice if you’re looking for other components while there or if they provide build services.

Sorry I had trouble getting the reply to function correctly on my phone, but I would definitely pick the 7600x3d and ASUS B850 instead of the 9700x and Gigabyte B650. Based on the benchmarks, the x3d chip should provide better overall gaming performance. The motherboard also includes features like PCIe 5 for the main slot, WiFi 7, and a more robust VRM.
