Hi!, I'm currently at our family holiday house and I really want to play my game. However, the computer here is quite old and I think it's around £100 or so. My dad is trying to remind me that it used to be a much better machine once. Here are the details listed below! Could you also let me know if there are any ways to boost its performance or overclock it? This computer is running very slowly.

This is definitely not an ideal setup for gaming.

Choose your game. Civilization 2.42 is one of my top picks and should run smoothly. I use a 32-bit PC specifically for that. Adding 2GB might be beneficial. A 32-bit OS needs dedicated space for hardware, which limits room for Windows and the game.

I had Minecraft in my mind, I stopped playing it but I realize I have no other option really, since it's not a difficult game to run. It's not just about gaming in general—my computer is there to help me improve without spending money, and I'm only here for the next three days.

I would play Quake 3 Arena all day on that! Seriously, I wouldn't bother upgrading anything - it has 1/10 the CPU power of an i3 and 1/10 the GPU power of a GTX 960. There's no quick fix for that.
