I was informed it's not possible to OC on an A320 M-H, but I'm certain I can do it.
This is on my Rzyen 5 3600 (OCd to 3.9ghz).
I changed the RAM from 2400mhz to 3000mhz.

Hello, thank you. I understand and just wanted to confirm I'm properly overclocking before proceeding.

He is indicating that your CPU operates similarly when in stock conditions.

If you adjust it manually to that frequency, you underclock it.

The changes were made after the update, from "3.59ghz" to "3.89ghz". It seems there was a revision in the specifications.

Your base speed is 3.6GHz, boost is 4.2GHz; setting it to 3.9GHz restricts performance below what it naturally achieves. Anything below 4.2GHz is an underclocking situation.

Sure, I'll adjust the wording while keeping the same length and structure. Let me make sure.

If you switch to 4.5ghz this would be an overclocking? It might not be a good idea with a stock cooler, but it's not explicitly stated whether it's problematic.

I've reviewed the material thoroughly. The CPU can reach up to 4.2ghz when necessary, but manually lowering it below that limit prevents the boost from activating and turns off the overclocking feature.
