Is this normal?
Last year I disabled the system updates, but now I re-enabled them for Windows 10. It seemed frustrating because I had downloaded many updates without realizing it. My Windows files were at 40 GB, and they kept updating.
Sure, practice typing and use Google more often for quicker results.
Windows storage is 40 GB, but your friend's system runs Windows 8.1 with a 17 GB file...
I understand, but that's 40 GB now... After the update it will reach 100 GB!
I can set up Windows 8.1, turn off updates, disable system restore, and likely make the installation size smaller. So what are you asking about?
