Recently I noticed Speecy64 is displaying 2 cores instead of the usual 4 threads, even though gaming FPS remains stable and video exporting feels smooth in CineBench R15. My performance dropped significantly—about half compared to when I bought it in 2018. I suspect my CPU is only utilizing half its cores and threads. Despite not changing any BIOS settings, the change happened suddenly. I reinstalled graphics drivers, reset BIOS and registry, tried third-party tools to unlock the CPU, but nothing worked. The most frustrating part is knowing the product specs clearly state 4 cores and 8 threads, yet the system only recognizes 2. Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue?

Press Win + R, navigate to msconfig, select the Boot tab, go to Advanced settings, and either remove the checkbox for "Number of processors" or adjust it to 8.
