Currently, in my country, they're providing a JBL headset with a 76% discount, bringing the price down to just $17. This is the first time I've encountered a JBL headset or any of their products. Is this a worthwhile offer?

Probably not the best headphones ever created, but they're quite affordable compared to others, so that seems fine. Just keep in mind they are on-ears and don't have much padding, which could make them a bit uncomfortable. Also, since they emphasize bass, they might not have much treble, so if that's what you're after, you might want something different. Some Amazon reviews could offer more insight.

they produce excellent sound but haven't experimented with their headphones.
