I anticipate being able to achieve a frame rate of 30 frames per second or greater, potentially increasing it with adjustments. In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, my processor initially struggled to run the game, but after overclocking and implementing specific modifications, I managed to attain approximately 50 frames per second solely using my central processing unit. Considering this, I believe purchasing the GT1030 would allow me to maintain a frame rate of 30 FPS.
Greetings to all. I’m hoping to purchase a graphics card and an R6, but first, I’d like to determine if I can smoothly play this game with my existing hardware. I am attempting to build a gaming computer, however, my central processing unit is permanently soldered (BGA1170), preventing upgrades. My specifications are as follows:
CPU: 4 cores, 4 threads, overclocked to 2.6 GHz with a 2MB cache, using a 22nm process.
RAM: Currently 4GB, needing an upgrade to 8GB DDR3.
GPU: Could you advise on what graphics card I could install to achieve the highest possible frame rate while maintaining a low power draw and avoiding performance bottlenecks? Thank you!
Seriously. Why purchase a 1030 when you already own a GTX 750? Rainbow Six Siege requires significantly more processing power than Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Even with boosting your processor, it likely won't suffice. The absolute minimum CPU specification is an Intel Core i3-560, and a minimum of 6GB of memory is also needed. Therefore, I suggest improving your RAM and CPU first, and continuing to use your GTX 750. You don’t require a new graphics card.
Update: Hold on, let me investigate your CPU further to determine if it’s truly capable of operating the game, as my initial assessment might be inaccurate.
Update 2: No way. Absolutely not. If you desire any possibility of running the game, a more powerful CPU is essential.
If you’re interested in experimenting with your current processor, please do. It’s unlikely that anyone participating on the discussion boards possesses your specific hardware configuration to evaluate your request. The 750 Ti offers superior performance compared to the 1030. However, your system’s functionality will largely hinge on the capabilities of your power supply unit. Have you verified whether the graphics cards can accommodate your case and receive sufficient energy from your power supply?
