I am interested in purchasing Rainbow Six Siege and a new graphics card, and I'd like to determine which of these GPUs would provide higher frame rates. Here are my system specifications:

CPU: Intel Pentium J2900 (2013) – 4 cores, 4 threads, overclocked to 2.66GHz
RAM: 4GB → 8GB
GPU: GTX 750ti low profile 2GB / GT730 4GB DDR3

I require assistance as I believe my GTX card will limit the performance of my CPU. Thank you!

If you're considering using your current processor, please do so. It’s unlikely that anyone participating in the online community possesses both your specific processor and the game you're inquiring about. The 750 Ti outperforms the 1030 in terms of speed. However, whether your system will function depends on the capacity of your power supply as well. Have you verified that the graphics cards will accommodate your computer case and are compatible with your power supply’s capabilities?

A completely new computer is required to smoothly play Rainbow Six Siege, as your current processor isn't powerful enough for contemporary games. Your graphics card might adequately handle 720p or 900p resolution, however.

I comprehend! I need to transform a standard desktop computer into a gaming system – though it will likely never truly be a dedicated gaming machine. Consequently, I expect to achieve frame rates of 30/40 frames per second? That’s acceptable for me, even if it's a lower rate at 40 frames per second. Currently, utilizing only my processor and built-in graphics, I can comfortably play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at 50 to 70 frames per second. Therefore, what graphics card should I select between the GTX 750 Ti low-profile model or the GT730 4GB DDR3? I’m concerned about potential limitations due to a bottleneck, but I’m unsure.

My hardware specifications are as follows:

Processor : Intel J2900 Overclocked at 2.66 GHz with 4 cores and 4 threads
Memory : 4GB
Graphics Card : GTX 750ti low profile or GT730 DDR3 with 4GB – Which of these GPUs will limit the performance of my CPU?

Thank you!

PS: I play Counter-Strike Global Offensive and achieve only 50 frames per second using my CPU alone.

Even if you experience performance limitations with your current graphics card, it’s perfectly acceptable if the GPU is substantially stronger than what your system requires. It’s not a problem at all. Increasing your memory capacity is advisable—6 to 8 gigabytes should suffice. 4 gigabytes would be inadequate. Furthermore, a new processor is recommended. Could you please specify whether your system uses DDR2 or DDR3 memory? Knowing this will enable me to suggest suitable processor upgrades.

I need DDR3 memory, however, I am unable to replace my processor as it’s a critical situation. I do not want to spend money on a new CPU and instead wish to improve my computer’s performance. My current processor only allows me to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at a frame rate of 50, and I’m questioning whether it will be sufficient. Nevertheless, I plan to purchase 8 gigabytes of RAM.

Upgrading your ram won’t do you much I’m afraid... unless you upgrade the CPU with it.
Can you give us the model of motherboard that you have?

Manufacturer: essentielb
Model: BTDD-LT (SOCKET 0)
Version: 1.0
Chipset Provider: Intel
Chipset Type: Bay Trail Host Bridge
Chipset Revision: 0E
Southbridge Provider: Intel
Southbridge Type: Bay Trail LPC Bridge
Southbridge Revision: 0E
System Temperature: 27°C

Does this alter anything? And considering my actual processor and a GT730 DDR3 4GB, can you roughly calculate my frames per second? I’m not concerned about playing with reduced graphics quality.

Your computer's central processing unit will not successfully operate the game; it falls significantly short of the necessary specifications. The GT 730 graphics card will also be unable to execute the game; a GTX 750 would be required instead.
