Is this an appropriate overclock?
I have an MSI Armor RX 570 8GB OC, and I've been experimenting with it since it's an overclocked version, right? The stock specifications are as follows:
Core clock: 1268mhz at 1150mv
Memory clock: 1750mhz at 900mv
Through Radeon Software tuning, I've managed to:
Core clock: 1350mhz, reduced voltage from 1150mv to 1000mv
Memory clock: 1900, same voltage.
Power limit increased by 20%
The GPU stays cool in the 60°C range with some fan curve tweaks; overall it's not making any noise.
What do you think? I could push it further, but I'm avoiding the heat and fan sounds.
A strong OC needs two key qualities: stability and coolness. Because both are valuable, an OC is effective.
