Hello, I'm trying to install a wireless NIC card from another PC onto my Dell Precision 3431. I'm unsure if it's a standard NIC port or something different. Could you assist in identifying what it is? Thanks!

It's a standard PCI-E X4 port. You can insert any PCI-E cards here, so a PCI-E wireless adapter will fit.

The black slot supports PCIe x4. The service guide mentions a small white connector above it (featuring a screw hole on both sides) labeled USB-C, though it doesn't indicate any device is connected. (Refer to page 19.) https://dl.dell.com/topicspdf/precision-..._en-us.pdf

That's a x1 card, so it will work in a x4 slot.
