Hello everyone, I’m starting to assemble a fresh computer. My gaming needs are for 2K titles, aiming for smooth frames between 120 and 144fps—better is always better. I’m still using a setup from 2016, so I’m open to any advice. This purchase fits within my budget.

I’ll keep the storage from my old build. I have a Samsung Evo drive and a Corsair MP400. I also own a Noctua D14, but I’m not sure if it beats the Peerless Assassin.

It seems okay.
The Noctua NH-D14 works well, no need to switch it.
Give it a try first.
I don’t really care about the X3D versions unless you’re just playing games.
Other tasks are better handled by the base 7800X

I might prefer another configuration as well. When considering the expense, it's difficult to decline the Fractal Pop Air.
