I tried to disconnect the case's front panel USB hub connector from the motherboard, and the plastic came off with it... Well I know they list these ASRock cheap motherboards as very nice value for the money, but damn, this motherboard is already the replacement after the first one died a few days after using it: And I bought it from Amazon US, and I'm not from the US, so no warranty(or yes, but shipping costs more than the motherboard). So I can't recommend those cheap ASRocks to anyone. You really should pay a few extra $$ to get better quality products. You'll end up paying more lol.. And this entire board feels flimsy and cheap, even for worse vrms if you're not OCing

This plastic separation isn't exclusive to budget motherboards from ASRock or any other brand. It's actually a characteristic of the front header connector design—it's extremely difficult to remove or replace, and mistakes can cause bent pins.

Any motherboard is capable of this. Remove the plastic mount and reinstall it onto the USB header.

Haha, I don’t get why it’s so tough... But it’s 2/2 for this motherboard. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but these are two separate problems, so they just combine them.

This connection is simply a flawed construction from the beginning.

They seem to do it on purpose. I could be overreacting since this is the second time the board has been problematic—this one is already a replacement. I might cut out the part that sounds like a whine.

I strongly dislike this connector. It's very difficult to connect and even more challenging to remove. Are any updates on the horizon?

recalls every instance where I took it out just as effortlessly as any other connector, haha. Extremely tough to detach. Please stop, I’m at my limit. The thick USB 3 cable we have now could get tangled up in it.

This layout isn't particularly innovative; it's typical, though it lacks special functionality.
