OP, even though a bios reset can fix problems like this, the more important step is to clear the CMOS.

I'm sorry again for the delayed response! Christmas is a busy season. Ha ha.
I plan to clear the CMOS right away, which makes sense since something might have been affected during the recent upgrades or rollbacks. Once I've done it, I'll share an update—maybe within a few days. Hopefully this won't be the only problem I'm dealing with.

I'd like to think it's not a hardware problem, since most parts are new (the Mobo and CPU were purchased in 2021) and this is my first real issue. I'm not eliminating the possibility of being a late starter either.
