I'm not based in Canada, so I don't know if it was released there. The 10900K is available for purchase in some regions, at least where I can live.

I haven't found any stores in the USA or Canada carrying them. Even rare ones are hard to come by. The 10700k and 10600k models are widely available now. It makes sense that Best Buy doesn’t stock them—it seems like they’re not in demand.

It differs significantly—it dates back a long time. Besides, the version in use here is Zen+ rather than Zen 2, and it doesn't support four threads.
