Hello everyone, I recently assembled my first PC using an FX-8350 processor with an aftermarket cooler. I wanted to ask if it's typical for FX users to experience a temperature rise to around 47°C during load. My setup includes stock speeds, a Frostflow 120 case with a push-pull fan arrangement, and a static 120mm Thermaltake front fan replacement due to the tight wiring in the case. Here are my specifications:
CPU: FX-8350
RAM: HyperX 2xGB at 16GB Dual Channel
Case: Sharkoon VG5-W
Motherboard: 990FXA-GD65
GPU: MSI 39 380 Gaming
Cooler: Frostflow 120L
Idle temperatures are normal between 20-27°C, but they quickly increase to about 47-48°C during load or gaming. Is this expected, or is my cooler underperforming? Living in a tropical area makes it even more surprising that it's reaching such high temps? I was considering overclocking, but the temperatures are discouraging. Can I still safely push it to around 4.7GHZ? Also, no need to worry about Intel being superior or AMD causing disaster—this is just my experience. I purchased the FX 8350 mainly because it's significantly cheaper than the Intel options available locally.

Those temps are totally fine. in fact there's even some room for slight overclocking. i believe 60C was the number you don't wan't to cross with this cpu. so anything under that should be fine.
