Checking compatibility is important. The MSI B660M-A supports those CPUs, but ensure your power supply meets the required wattage and form factor. With a solid 750W PSU from Asus Tuf, you should be good, just confirm the motherboard model matches your CPU specs.

The board looks good, but try the F or non-K alternative. You won’t be able to use the unlocked multiplier and voltage settings, and usually one of those two options will cost less in most markets.

You're correct, but it seems limited options exist for non-K versions in my country's used market.

So head over there and really think about it, especially if the new market isn’t offering much. These newer CPUs often don’t get a fair deal compared to buying them brand new, and in Indonesia the price difference is usually just a few dollars.

Be mindful that purchasing used 13/14 generation Intel CPUs could involve risks because of the wear and tear mentioned by the user above. The chip might already be worn out or harmed from outdated microcode issues.

There's a huge risk that the cpu is already degraded if it's used already. In that case go for a 12th gen "Alder lake" instead.
