I'd also check the power source. Keeping the voltage on your graphics card below the default level might extend its lifespan during DBD?

I'm working on Final Fantasy 15 again with the same HDD. Before, loading was impossible without power cutting out. I switched to afterburner and adjusted the voltage curve down by 350. Now it loads and I can roam freely. Probably a PSU issue.

It might not be ideal, but it will keep you going until a better PSU arrives.
