So essentially, I just upgraded my computer with a new CPU and motherboard and started facing this problem soon after. Whenever I try to play a game, the computer shuts down and restarts automatically. At first I thought it was overheating, but I have a cooler on it and ran Cinebench multiple times without any effect. I also checked 3DMark to see if it was a GPU issue, but didn’t find anything. This only happens when playing games. Recently, I’ve been trying to play Dead By Daylight (which isn’t too demanding) and I can only play for about five minutes before it shuts down. But when I load Halo Infinite (with max settings), it works perfectly. The issue seems to occur with other games too. Maybe it’s a PSU problem? It can’t be overheating because I can see the temperatures on my monitor. IMG_3201.mp4

I’m curious about why the temperatures are showing as F instead of C. If it’s in Celsius, the system would likely have stopped functioning. What are the specifications?

It might be several factors at play. Check if your BIOS is current, drivers are updated, and the chipset matches.

They're an F, thanks! American here. The system runs on an Intel core i7-13700k with a Nvidia 3080ti GPU, powered by an MSI Z690 edge motherboard, using a Lian Li SP850 PSU and 32 GB of Corsair DDR5-6000 RAM.

The GPU wouldn't function properly at that speed.

Currently running on Discord and Steam, CPU at 75°F, GPU at 91°F. Probably not overheating—have eight fans in the case.

It's an improvement—storage uses an HDD (though it's slow and outdated), but they're running Steam games on it. The main drive has the operating system installed on an SSD. The latest upgrades include a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM.
