Back then I played it. (About 3-4 months ago) I really enjoyed it. NC is my favorite empire, and I had a lot of fun using the first rifle for the infiltrator. Just upgrade the scope if you can. Spotting good cover with the infiltrator class and sneaking shots at enemies was just exciting. The base capture limits made the battles intense. It could get pretty intense!

yeah, NC starting with a bolt action while the other empires get semi-autos ive since upgraded to the Parallax, which is an amazing rifle.

I have a preference for NC, but I enjoy playing as TR for another reason. I think teamwork shines there. The stock weapons are quite solid, though the non-bolt-action sniper rifle for the infiltrator is missing from NC. What matters most is your own style. Farming certs is best done by focusing on being a medic and using your medical abilities early. Also, consider getting some sights for your existing weapons—they really make a difference. I’d invest in a C4 for light assault since I love that playstyle. Later, I’d upgrade to a sniper rifle and an SMG (SMGs cost 1000 certs, so you’ll have plenty to work with). The stock weapons are solid overall, but getting a high-cert weapon doesn’t automatically make you stronger. Pay attention to the current meta, play in squads and platoons, and remember teamwork is key.

Have you seen any suggestions for what vehicles should carry what gear?

I've spent around 1500 hours on this game and appreciated its idea, though it had several issues. It's essentially the only open-world FPS with massive battles, blending elements of Risk, Battlefield, and Halo. If you own powerful hardware, this free-to-play title stands out as one of the best available. However, its launch was poor due to major optimization problems and poor performance across all systems, even high-end ones. The initial versions offered very little variety and balance, making them repetitive and unchallenging. Many players quickly get caught in one-sided fights where large groups overwhelm small defenses. Since then, improvements have been made, but the game now struggles with fewer players and tougher combat, leading to a decline in engagement. It feels like it's nearly finished.

At first, focus on getting the basics right. I’ve been playing Planetside 2 for about two years without diving too deep, and I haven’t equipped any weapons except the Skyguard. I also picked up a few weapons for the ESF and the Lib thieves.

I've been riding since April 2014. My Vanu is a BR 52, and my Magrider is in good condition. I mostly talk about shared transport.

Teamwork can be effective, just remember to stay mindful. I'm not very experienced with FPS titles, but on the PS2 it's all about keeping up with your teammates.

Prefer Vanu, but I also like your TR MBT. It hasn’t been a while since I’ve played, but Plusar-C seems to be a top pick for me. NS11-C is another favorite.
