He keeps getting it every day and I'm tired of it. He's been banned twice already because of it, and nothing seems to help. He doesn't even have antivirus protection installed.

users on the Steam forum argue constantly and get frustrated with me, pointing the finger at his computer while ignoring the fact that it's working fine. It seems to be only started recently, and he doesn't even have antivirus software installed on one of the operating systems (dual boot), which is the same one used for CS:GO.

It seems the connection is slow—ping is around 8ms. I believe the issue might be with the servers.

Earlier, I relied on an antivirus, but after uninstalling it, the issue resolved. Previously, I had AV, now I use Windows Defender.
