I might have to wait and check if it connects with the latest updates. Ugh, Google. I enjoy G+ on YouTube, but those frequent alerts will be super bothersome.

I've checked my setup now. The email used for YouTube comments is linked to my phone, and I disabled those notifications there. My personal email stays synced and triggers alerts normally. It seems the lack of email notifications might not affect G+ comments either. Probably a different setting controls that.

It seems I'm not familiar with this. You may need to check your Google Plus and YouTube settings on a computer.
