I have some extra money this Saturday and am looking to buy a game. At first I thought about the Metro Redux releases, but they’re not urgent—I prefer something available online. I’m thinking Titanfall and possibly the season pass later. Anyone have ideas or opinions on the game? Or do you have other suggestions under £25? I’m not interested in indie or early access titles. I’d like a first-person shooter that’s released digitally. Titanfall is currently £20.65 on G2Play.

It remains available for 48 hours on Origin. Consider taking advantage of it before it expires if you haven't already.

Well, it quickly lost its appeal.

Tried the beta version, purchased the game when it was released. I believe I spent more time on the beta than on the complete version. It's not great.

I enjoy what I like, so I’ll keep playing it nonstop. I’ve accumulated around 3000 hours of CSS work, with the bulk on the map cs_office.

CSS feels better, and I dislike the series.

I understand your point. Titanfall didn't create the same sense of staying engaged that CS and many others did. Take advantage of the 48 hours free on Origin, and consider purchasing it if you still want to play afterward.

The download time isn't enough to make up for the data consumption.

Internet prices differ, I’m not sure if OP has data caps, and I don’t know the wait time. With the unfavorable feedback here, I’d strongly suggest testing it for free before committing funds. (EA still providing demos... who knew that would happen?)
