Several years ago, during my time with Windows 98, I discovered this particular game. It was a real-time adventure title utilizing a point-and-click interface, where I assumed the role of a covert operative and investigator tasked with pursuing five identical figures resembling Men in Black. Each of these clones carried a briefcase that needed to be recovered. I’m fairly certain the game was titled “The Blobs.” While it likely wasn't a widely known title, I’m confident that it did exist. Any assistance in locating this game would be incredibly valuable, as I’ve been attempting to find it for a significant period.

I'm unfamiliar with the specific game you mention, but it seems like "Blobs" was a competitive online experience where players controlled viscous masses, battling against other similar entities to grow in size.
